Taku

Thanks to your support, Taku is going to school.  Previously, Taku had dropped out of school to help her mother and sister collect water.

Thanks to the family’s brand new rainwater harvesting tank and biosand filter, the family has clean water.  Taku is also the proud recipient of a brand new bicycle and school supplies.    Taku’s mother is now growing fruits and vegetables for nutrition and grains for income.  Your donations have provided Taku’s family with a Khadin “farming dyke” built perpendicular to the flow of water.  As a result, their crop yields have doubled.
