Mamta

As of last year, Mamta’s mother earned $2 per day by working at local farms; just enough to support Mamta and her siblings.

Today Mamta’s mother is growing wheat and millet for income on her own farmland.  A brand new Khadin (farming dyke) provides water for irrigation.

Most importantly,  Mamta is now attending school, eating fruits and vegetables and is much healthier as result of drinking clean water.   She no longer needs to walk miles to collect water.  A brand new rainwater harvesting tank provides her family with clean water.

Mamta’s mother grateful to everyone that has brought joy to her family.
